Our first iPhone app update has been rolled out today bringing the Showreel and wireless Bluetooth connectivity with it.
1. Showreel
Showreel is a popular site feature, so it seemed only natural to introduce it to our app - judging by the feedback we’ve received so far, we predict it’s going to be a popular update.
The addition of showreel makes it possible to listen back to saved shows within the app. Here are the simple steps to follow:
Step 1 - Go to a users profile and tap the showreel option:
Step 2 - Select a show that takes your fancy:
Step 3 - Play, pause, skip and listen to the show directly from the app:
Broadcasters can now manage your showreel from within the app allowing you to edit your showreel list, save any unsaved shows, or delete saved shows which are no longer needed.
2. Wireless Bluetooth compatibility
The app now fully supports wireless bluetooth connectivity. This means you can now tune into your favourite Mixlr’s using your wireless Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
Simply go to a broadcast, select the share option in the top-right of the screen and you’ll see the Bluetooth connection option appear as highlighted in this picture:
In addition to these two key changes, we’ve also been working hard to improve the speed and stability of the app, alongwith significant player enhancements. All updates rolled out will increase the quality of the listening and broadcasting experience.
