The next installment of Knowledge Magazine’s night at Cafe 1001 showcases one of the most vibrant alternative D&B imprints of the moment, Diffrent, and will be streamed live from the DJ booth between 7 and 12 GMT next Thursday, 1st March.
Celebrating the second birthday of the Diffrent label (and of course their figurehead, Leonard the pink giraffe), KMag presents Diffrent promises to be a night of the finest up-and-coming D&B with appearances from artists including Hunchbak & Dexta, Arkaik, Jekyll, Shaded and Dan Marshall.
If you’ve not heard of Diffrent yet, you soon will, and what better way to describe the Diffrent sound than the eminent KMag themselves: “Not quite falling in to the increasingly popular minimalist bracket, nor churning out dance floor bangers, Diffrent seeks to bridge the divide between Dubstep and Drum & Bass with a truly unique sound.“ You’d be mad not to tune in.
